Yorkshire entrepreneur triumphs at English Women’s Awards

Co-founder of MEMI makeup brand, Millie Watson, is celebrating after being awarded the Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2018 English Women’s Awards North.

The 21-year-old entrepreneur from Leeds was announced the winner at a glamourous ceremony held at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel on Monday 19th March 2018. The English Women’s Awards celebrate British Women for their achievements.

Millie Watson, Managing Director of MEMI makeup, said “I’m honoured to have been recognised at the English Women’s Awards. Having only launched our brand at the end of last year, it’s an incredible feat to have been nominated and to win is thrilling. I hope our passion for ethical and affordable beauty continues to show as our company grows”.

MEMI is a new, cruelty-free, ethical make up range offering premium quality at affordable prices, aimed at millennials.

Inspired by the success of the Scottish Women’s Awards 2017, the English Women’s Award was introduced to celebrate British women and their achievements in a number of fields and categories.

The awards celebrate and acknowledge women entrepreneurs, professionals, business owners and more in North England.
