The Yorkshire Mafia, one of the largest professional networks in the North, has teamed up with The Biltmore Bar and Grill to bring local and likeminded businesses together during a summer drinks evening in York on 27th July, from 6pm to 11pm.
The event, which encourages individuals to meet in an informal setting, allows them to think, share and learn. The relaxed atmosphere is also reflective of the Groups ‘no sales’ policy. Instead, people are given the chance to unwind, whilst enjoying a chat and a drink amongst other entrepreneurs.
It is hoped that in providing a social setting that is less formal, people can extend the network of people they rely on. As well as providing access to a range of business services, people also give each other advice and support.
Building longer-term relationships through the YM has proven to generate business and reinforces the organisations philosophy that we are stronger together.
Kate Hutchinson, General Manager at The Yorkshire Mafia, comments:
“We’re really looking forward to our drinks evening in York. We are sure it will be another successful event for The Yorkshire Mafia. Extending our reach across Yorkshire is a priority for us as we know that there is an increasing demand for the more informal approach to networking that our evenings offer.
“Taking the selling out of the equation means that people can come along, relax and enjoy themselves, something that is very difficult to do when reeling off a sales pitch!”
Giving businesses the perfect opportunity to put their company in the spotlight, the Yorkshire Mafia invites sponsors for each event. If you are interested or for further details please contact Kate Hutchinson, [email protected].
