Camp Xplode, an innovative Yorkshire-based children’s activity camp, has seen phenomenal growth in its holiday camps since it launched in 2015 from 40 kids at 1 location to 200 children and 40 activities and a month long waiting list. They have become so popular with Yorkshire parents that they’ve added a third location to its offer.
Just in time for the school summer holiday, Camp Xplode is adding Bradford Girl’s Grammar school to its venue list which can accommodate 40 children and offers fantastic facilities and grounds to keep children entertained.
To celebrate the camp is hosting a free open day at Bradford Girls Grammar School on July 30th from 8am to 6pm. Parents, and most importantly, children and young people can meet the team and join in with bubble football, tennis, arts and crafts and more. Parents are welcome to accompany their children to experience camp life or leave them to enjoy the day of fun activities.
Commenting on the launch at Bradford Girl’s Grammar school, Nick Coulson, founder of Camp Xplode said:
“Camp Xplode has been a real labour of love for me and I’m really excited to launch it at our third location and let more children experience the adventure. Bradford Girls Grammar School has such excellent facilities and grounds – it will allow us to run some amazing activities.
“It has been a fantastic turn-out this year and the children seem to be really enjoying themselves. We have taken them on some exciting excursions and the themed camps have been a success; it’s great to see children building confidence, having fun and making life-long friends along the way.”
Founded in 2015 by Yorkshire entrepreneur Nick Coulson, Camp Xplode is dedicated to providing children and young people with a unique and fun-filled experience during school holidays. The activities are centred around the child and are both entertaining and educational.
Inspired by a holiday camp he attended aged 13, Nick believes that camps provide valuable opportunities to develop confidence and build life-long friendships.
Given that mental illness and obesity are on the rise amongst young people, Nick is keen to help children improve their overall physical health and wellbeing as well as allow them to connect with others and feel better in their own skin.
Welcoming children from three to 17 years old; with options to purchase camp kits, breakfast, extended days and birthday treats, Camp Xplode offers a range of additional services to make the busy school holidays easier for parents.
