Dronfield-based financial planners, Belmayne, have made it to the final round of the East Midlands Business of the Year Awards, demonstrating their commitment to staff development. The independent firm is one of nine shortlisted for Employer of the Year at the regional awards, after showcasing how it excels for its workforce in a site visit.
Belmayne and the other shortlisted firms have now pitched their case to a panel of judges at a presentation day in Nottingham. The winner will be announced at a black-tie ceremony held on October 15 at the city’s Crowne Plaza.
Martin Birch, Belmayne’s managing partner, said: “It is an honour to be among a broad field of shortlisted companies nominated for Employer of the Year. Our firm is evolving rapidly and it shows just how far we have come in a relatively short space of time. We have ambitious plans for the future, which hinge on the financial knowledge, creativity and support of our incredible team. We recognise that when our people succeed, so do our clients and our business.”
The East Midlands Business of the Year Awards are organised by The Business Desk to celebrate the most innovative and successful companies in the region. The Employer of the Year category recognises organisations that can demonstrate investment in skills and training, innovations around flexible working and workplace wellbeing.
