This festive season the Harrogate Convention Centre has Christmas wrapped up as the Country Living Fair returns for the seventh year.
From 29 November to 2 December visitors can immerse themselves in a Christmas experience involving everything from cooking demonstrations in the Country Living Kitchen, craft workshops and fine dining with a French bistro set up in the Royal Hall, as well as sourcing handmade gifts, decorations, locally produced food and drink and interiors products.
Over one third of the 300 exhibitors are Yorkshire-based businesses including Harrogate’s Just So Interiors. The mother-daughter team, who offer interior design services, are returning to the fair for the third year with their range of seasonal home accessories including throws, candle holders and Christmas decorations.
Rebecca Moore, who launched Just So Interiors with her mother Angela in 2012, said: “We’re really looking forward to exhibiting at the Country Living Christmas Fair in Harrogate again; it’s great to see repeat customers as well as meeting new visitors and exhibitors from across the country. We have a newly launched Christmas range to help people add a decorative festive touch to their homes this winter and we’re very excited to share it!”
Jewellery brand Infinity & Co, based at Allerton Castle in Harrogate is also exhibiting at the fair with a range of collections and products including rings, friendship bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Founder, Sam McDermid, says: “Infinity & Co is all about bringing affordable luxury and style into everyday life which makes the Country Living Christmas Fair in Harrogate perfect for us. It’s our third time exhibiting and we love sharing our pieces whether visitors are buying Christmas presents or a little treat for themselves.”
With the event focusing on small businesses and unique designer/makers, other exhibitors include York-based luxury leather accessories brand Saskia & Rose London which was launched in 2017 and family-run, Leeds-based artisan book bindery Lotus Blu Book Art which specialises in crafting unique journals and photo albums.
Visitors to the Christmas extravaganza in Harrogate can also unwind at the Viking Cruises Champagne Bar, book onto workshops in the Crafting Studio or upgrade to the VIP Experience package to relax in a private lounge, enjoy bottomless prosecco, bypass the entrance queue and receive a Country Living Fair goody bag.
