Advantage Insurance (AHCI), is a leading structural defects warranty specialist with a Warrington HQ. Following several successful years for the business, they’ve been recruiting new staff at their Warrington, Birmingham and Horsham offices.
Following a recent recruitment drive in Warrington (resulting in six new surveyors joining the business) they’re also growing their team in Birmingham.
Advantage has recently employed new surveyors and will also be recruiting more sales staff this month as demand for their services continues to grow. Steve Loveridge, Advantage’s Regional Manager for Birmingham, said: “We have lots of new customers coming on board and the business is growing following a busy year for us. We’re taking on more staff to meet the growing demand for our services.”
The number of new homes built in Birmingham over the last three years has exceeded the annual targets set by government by 108 per cent and the Advantage team has been working closely with Housing Associations, self-builders and developers nationwide to support their clients in the city.
Advantage’s Birmingham office at Pacific House, Tamworth, was opened in 2016 and covers both the East and West Midlands. The business has enjoyed steady growth, covering both commercial and residential properties and projects ranging in scale from individual one-off houses to developments with a build cost of over £50 million. They work closely with self-builders, developers, contractors and Housing Associations as well as intermediaries such as insurance brokers, solicitors property advisors, architects, financial advisors, banks and administrators.
David Sumner, Sales Director at Advantage, said: “There’s a high volume of construction and development projects taking place throughout the Midlands and it made sense for us to capture this huge market, offering warranties for both new build and refurbishment schemes.
