Eleven Group Appoint Marketing Director to Lead Growth Efforts

New Eleven Group Marketing Director Paul Dodd

Eleven Group have announced the recruitment of Paul Dodd to their team as director of marketing and growth. Paul joins from Liverpool Tech Startup Accelerator The Venture Studio (previously NOVA), where he spent 5 years as Head of Marketing, cultivating and scaling tech businesses from the ground up. His expertise in nurturing fledgling tech businesses will play a pivotal role in developing Eleven Group’s expansion plans across their portfolio of mental health, wellbeing, property and sports businesses.

Paul will lead the strategy and growth initiatives for Wilmslow based Eleven Groups’ businesses, including scaling the delivery team across the group. The portfolio comprises social impact tech businesses including a CRM platform for clinicians (Clinix), a gambling rehabilitation digital treatment platform (AnonyMind), a mental health treatment and rehabilitation centre (Leon House) and a recently launched Employer Mental Health and Wellness Platform (imatta).

Paul has an impressive track record of successfully launching and growing technology startups, having previously led the marketing division and international expansion of The Venture Studio; successfully building and launching North West tech businesses including Umii, VidiVet, BOXD, Picturepath, Swished and Trialwell.

Eleven Group was founded by Chris Perry Metcalf and his father Gary Metcalf in 2018. After a string of successful property businesses, and their exit from Auxesia homes in April 2023, they have strengthened their leadership team to support their portfolio diversification and growth plans.

Speaking of the appointment, group CEO John Kelley-Quinn acknowledged “Paul’s extensive experience and leadership in the tech startup world make him the ideal choice to steer the marketing and growth activities for our portfolio. We’ve got a diverse group of early stage businesses in industries that are ripe for disruption. Our growing team’s experience and skill sets position us well to scale our businesses both throughout the UK and internationally”.

Paul Dodd added “I’m delighted to be a part of a company that is committed to enhancing people’s lives through technology. We’re building true ‘Tech for Good’, and I’m really proud that the work we’re doing supports those struggling with mental health conditions. I’m glad to be spearheading the plans to bring our products to more people, and in turn deliver more value to the social impact projects we support.”
