Founder of Leeds fitness firm mentally motivates business professionals

The managing director of a Leeds-based fitness firm will deliver multiple talks to business professionals during Leeds Wellbeing Week, which commences on the 19th March 2018.

Young entrepreneur and founder of AllShapeUp, James Hesling will present to an audience of 100 attendees at two mental strength masterclasses on 20th and 21st March 2018.
Organised by corporate mental strength training school, Chakra, the event will take place at Irwin Mitchell Solicitors in Leeds and will support delegates in understanding the importance of wellness in the workplace.

The session will also address the signs of anxiety and depression and the options for treatment, both medical and non-medical.

Established in 2017, Leeds Wellbeing Week is a series of wellness events around Leeds, encouraging organisations to place emphasis on the wellbeing of its employees.

James is also a keynote speaker at the PA Hub’s developmental event, during the same week. Held at the Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel, James will speak to personal assistants across Yorkshire and Merseyside about how exercise impacts on all areas of life including productivity and wellness at work.

James’s business, AllShapeUp is a digital platform built for individuals to help them become fitter, healthier and more confident through bespoke workout programmes and original recipes. Designed for all ages and abilities, AllShapeUp allows members to exercise from the comfort of their own home. James’ vision is to make exercise accessible to all.

James Hesling said:

“Wellbeing is so important in the work place; we’ve found that a large proportion of AllShapeUp members use exercise to destress.

“Yoga can be particularly good for mental strength, relaxation and self-care. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or fully-fledged yoga expert, there is something for everyone. We’ve also found that people have common obstacles which stop them from exercising. Through this event, we’re hoping to break down those barriers and help people to understand the benefits of exercising and its positive impact on the workplace.”

Zainah Khan, founder of Chakra commented:

“We’re thrilled to have James on board. The events in Leeds promise to be powerful ones, with a whole host of interesting speakers and experiential and interactive activities for attendees to undertake. At Chakra, we aim to destigmatise mental health issues at work and increase resilience to stress. We have had some wonderful successes in the last year, supporting many organisations to mentally energise their workforces.

“We’ll be visiting major cities across the country this year to give organisations a solid understanding of what positive and poor mental health really means and how we can support our colleagues and teams to become mentally strong.”

News follows James’ recent announcement of his world record attempt in May 2018, which will see the entrepreneur undertake the most miles run on a treadmill in 12 hours.
