Four new team members move ‘Stateside’ at Leeds ecommerce specialist

A Leeds-based ecommerce agency has made a raft of new appointments following an influx of new projects and clients.

The new appointments take the team to 20 employees all based at Graingers Way in Leeds. Onstate launched in 2010 with a team of two staff and just a handful of small clients. The business now has a client base including international consumer and high street brands.

The four new employees who have moved ‘stateside’ include Mike Guy who joins as client service and operations director; Greg Ball as digital designer plus Andy Betts and Aaron Moorhouse as junior developers.

Mike Guy joins from Leeds agency Made by Pi and has over 20 years’ experience of client relationship management. Mike is a dedicated and passionate hands-on professional whose skills include combining planning with problem solving. With a proven track record of delivering sustainable growth and value at a strategic level for companies of all sizes, he specialise in systems analysis, process improvements and driving business development.


Originally from Merseyside, Greg Ball, has joined Onstate following freelance stints at agencies in London and Leeds. Greg specialises in creative digital design and UX.

Andy Betts is a talented designer from an entrepreneurial background who has previous experience of transactional website design. Aaron Moorhouse joins the team off the back of a one year work placement at Huddersfield University where he also studied and achieved a first in Computer Science.

The agency has also promoted Ellis Grouse to Senior Developer. Ellis has been with Onstate for six years and is a huge asset to the growing team.

Onstate is looking to add to the appointments by expanding operations further in Dublin. The business is searching for suitable premises in the city, where many of its clients are based.

Onstate’s specialist roster of department store clients includes Brown Thomas, Home Store + More, Arnotts, The Original Factory Shop and Leekes. The agency also holds the prestigious accreditation of being an approved business partner of both Magento and Salesforce
