Hadrian Technology Scoop Major Contract Win for Sunderland City Council

Hadrian Technology Co-Founders Gary Trotter (L) and Stuart Ferguson (R)

Seaham-based Hadrian Technology, one of the UK’s leading CCTV design, supply and installation companies has secured a major contract win after being appointed as one of the suppliers of CCTV and surveillance technology services on a building services framework agreement for Sunderland City Council.

The appointment by the local authority will see Hadrian Technology provide CCTV repair and renewal works as part of a wider framework of repair and maintenance services for buildings owned and managed by Sunderland City Council. In total, six CCTV suppliers have been appointed to the framework and it is anticipated that the contract of work will last for a period of four years.

With a proven track record of delivering CCTV security systems for a diverse range of retail, leisure and hospitality companies, as well as public sector organisations, Hadrian Technology was recognised for its quality of work, cost effectiveness, training and qualifications and health and safety practices.

The news comes only months after Hadrian Technology was named as the North East’s highest-ranking firm in the prestigious Financial Times league table of Europe’s fastest-growing businesses – The Financial Times 1000. Earlier this year, Hadrian Technology was also named an Inc. 5000 Europe company.

Hadrian Technology Co-Founder Gary Trotter said: “The pressures on local authorities have never been greater and with such a diverse property portfolio to manage, including commercial property developments, leisure facilities and council offices, cost-effectiveness and quality of service were critical to Sunderland City Council’s decision. We’re delighted to have been appointed to deliver CCTV installation and repair services as part of the building services framework and look forward to working with Sunderland City Council over the next four years.”

North East-based Hadrian Technology advises clients on the design and installation of bespoke high-quality CCTV solutions, operating software and digital cloud-based storage through to ongoing maintenance. Having forged strategic partnerships with industry-leading manufacturers and software providers, including Videcon, Dell, Hikvision, Ocucon, Vista, Concept Pro, Everseen and Avigilon, Hadrian Technology is at the forefront of advanced digital analytics within the CCTV sector. The company has also developed specialist knowledge and expertise in combatting the fraudulent ‘slips, trips and falls’ claims culture that currently costs businesses and organisations more than £800m a year.
