Henry Boot Developments expands northern team

Henry Boot Developments (HBD) has further boosted its Northern headcount, welcoming three to its Yorkshire and North East regional teams.

Andrew Priestley and Simon Ross both join as Development Surveyors, while Thomas Matthews has been appointed as Senior Project Manager.

Andrew joined HBD from Rapleys, where he was also Development Surveyor, prior to which he spent three years with Lambert Smith Hampton’s London team. Simon previously spent two years with Bruntwood in Manchester. Both Andrew and Simon are responsible for the full development cycle, from procurement of new development opportunities to the disposal of completed schemes.

Thomas brings with him significant experience managing a variety of projects throughout England, including working as Project Manager at Mott MacDonald and two years as Project Support Manager at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, supporting the redevelopment of Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Vivienne Clements, Director at Henry Boot Developments, said: “Andrew, Simon and Thomas bring with them significant experience within their respective fields and further strengthen our Yorkshire and North East team as our development pipeline continues to expand. We remain committed to investing in the region and expect our Sheffield based team to grow further during the coming months.”

HBD’s Sheffield office is currently working on a number of significant projects within the northern regions, including the 300-acre International Advanced Manufacturing Park scheme in Sunderland, the iconic, 14-acre Chocolate Works site in York, and the successful Markham Vale Business Park
