North East company FNVi has secured another significant contract to supply the oil and gas sector with its ground-breaking intelligent workflow system.

The ACCORD system, which was designed and developed by the Middlesbrough-based software experts, was selected in the face of strong competition from other major European suppliers.

The deal to supply the workflow management and completion system, signed as part of a non-disclosure agreement, will be used on a major project in the Middle East.

The client has used the system to good effect on previous projects which were completed ahead of schedule. Consisting of more than 57,000 tags, 18,000 documents and 140 users, the client’s team and its contractors were able to utilise the speed and ease at which the ACCORD system manages, sorts and shares project data.

Designed to push back the barriers of digitisation within the engineering industry, the system increases cost savings and efficiency by allowing secure access to project information – allowing real time data to be instantly managed, monitored and shared with the relevant people.

Danny McGlade, Principle Director of FNVi, said: “With this latest contract, FNVi continues to establish itself as the leading supplier of this innovative technology, which allows us to strengthen our position within an ever-transforming energy sector.

“With ACCORD, FNVi has proved why it is the go-to solution for workflow management and completion systems in sectors which are increasingly looking for improved efficiency and performance.”

Geoff Morgan, FNVI Chief innovative Director, added: “Our clients are experiencing the very real benefits of ACCORD compared with older legacy systems, in terms of increased efficiency, ease of use, manpower cost savings, which, together with FNVI’s transparent pricing, makes it the stand-out system in the market.”

FNVi, which is a member of business development organisation NOF, was formed in 2014 and employs a wealth of developers and industry experts with global experience. It is focused on developing Cloud-based software that increases safety, efficiency and quality in every aspect of project management and completions across a range of industries.

Caroline Lofthouse, NOF’s Head of Stakeholder Engagement, said: “FNVi has produced an innovative product, which is revolutionising the technology surrounding workflow systems and are producing very real benefits.

“It is a great example of the ingenuity and determination of UK companies to create world-leading products and FNVi is now being rewarded in the form of major contracts.”
