Intermarketing Agency Partner with Local Heart Charity After Sadly Losing Loved Colleague to Heart Condition.

Global agency Intermarketing announced their ‘Charity Of The Year’ will be local Leeds heart charity, Take Heart, in memory of much loved colleague Adam Blain. Adam very sadly passed at the premature age of 38 in November 2018 due to a heart condition, making this charity even more significant to Intermarketing.

Take Heart are a local Leeds heart charity based in LGI run completely by trustees’ volunteers. They take pride in raising money for new equipment, overnight rooms for relatives, free TV/internet for patients, training areas for staff and oasis areas such as roof gardens for patients, plus much more. Creative agency Intermarketing chose this local charity as they’re focused to raise funds and awareness around heart health in memory of Adam Blain.

Alec McLean, Treasurer of Take Heart said “We are delighted that Intermarketing has chosen us as their charity for the year and we look forward to seeing their events. We are a completely voluntary charity with no paid staff and most trustees have joined the charity to show their gratitude, following life-saving treatment in the Yorkshire Heart Centre.”

Already just a few months into the partnership with Take Heart and Intermarketing have raised nearly £1,000 from fundraising events like a football tournament, heart related quiz night and competitive internal bake sale with plenty of exciting fundraisers to come. Such as a dodgeball tournament, bonfire night celebration and a festive quiz.


Furthermore, on the eve which would have been Adam’s 40th birthday, the first annual BUPAFEST will be held to honor his life – ‘Bupa’ was Adam’s well known nickname by friends and colleagues. This will include entertainment and food with #BeMoreBupa merchandise to purchase. This is an open event with all proceedings going to charity.

We want to celebrate his life with events like BUPAFEST and are determined to raise vital funds to help support charities like Take Heart do what they do so well. Furthermore, we hope to raise awareness on the importance of heart health and what support is out there if you’re concerned.’’
