Leeds-based entrepreneur motivates Merseyside students

The founder and managing director of West Yorkshire-based PR agency, MacComms will speak to an audience of students at The University of Liverpool, about her entrepreneurial journey on 3rd October 2017.

Ellie MacDonald, who formed start-up agency MacComms in April 2015, after having spent more than nine years in the marketing and public relations industry, will address the The Liverpool Entrepreneurs Network Society (LENS) at The Shankly Hotel, Liverpool.

The Liverpool Entrepreneurs Network Society is a student-led business community and network for budding entrepreneurs and business-minded individuals at the university. The society aims to bring together young people to exchange ideas and skills in preparation for when they leave university.

The event will include a 45-minute presentation from Ellie, who will then take part in a Q and A session, allowing students the opportunity to gain further insight into her entrepreneurial journey.

Ellie MacDonald comments:

“I feel honoured to have been asked by The Liverpool Entrepreneurs Network Society to present to a room full of young talent and the next generation of young entrepreneurs at the University of Liverpool. I’m incredibly excited to be able to share my story to help them on their way to fulfilling their dreams of carving their own paths, whether that be in full-time employment or setting up their own businesses.”

Liverpool Entrepreneurs Network Society’s external relationship manager, Migual Li adds:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Ellie to the society and the students are very much looking forward to hearing her entrepreneurial story. Having already learnt a little about Ellie’s background, we’re confident she will bring a wealth of knowledge to the event and provide the students with a valuable insight into what its truly like to run your own business.
“The Liverpool Entrepreneurs Network Society lays down a platform for students to acquire contacts within the business world, whilst supporting future leaders.”
