Luxury Jewellery Brand Alexandra Elizabeth to Partner with the Fortus Foundation to Create Lasting Social Change

The Yorkshire-based luxury jewellery brand, Alexandra Elizabeth, has confirmed its partnership with The Fortus Foundation, the York based charity that funds organisations and initiatives to make positive social impact and lasting change for communities across Yorkshire.

Alexandra Kent, CEO and Chief Design Officer at Alexandra Elizabeth said: “We’re so excited to be partnering with the Fortus Foundation. The whole team are really looking forward to supporting the wonderful work they do across the region and we’re honoured to be able to confirm the partnership.”

Alexandra Elizabeth, which launched in September, has committed to donating 1% of its annual profits to the Fortus Foundation as part of an initiative the Foundation calls its 1%er Club.

“Creating legacy is what we’re all about at Alexandra Elizabeth,” said Alex. “Bespoke jewellery becomes part of someone’s story and, eventually, their legacy. Standing alongside the other brilliant businesses in the Fortus Foundation’s 1%er Club gives us the opportunity to extend that drive towards fostering legacy in other meaningful ways.”

Matty Lewis, who is Head of The Fortus Foundation, says he is thrilled to have Alexandra Elizabeth on board.

“We’re really looking forward to working with the team at Alexandra Elizabeth to support causes that are particularly important to them,” said Matty. “They’re a great brand with genuine heart and they are keen to give back, so we’re very excited about the partnership.”

The Fortus Foundation was launched in 2024 as a focused way of providing support to communities, drive social impact, and foster positive change across Yorkshire. It provides grants of between £500 and £10,000 to small charities, community groups and grassroots organisations that often miss out on traditional charitable funding.

“We’ve been really impressed by how The Fortus Foundation makes lasting change across the region,” said Alex Kent, “and we’re very much looking forward to a long-lasting and impactful partnership that really makes a difference.”

Alexandra Elizabeth is a luxury and bespoke Yorkshire-based jewellery brand with a focus on love and legacy in all its forms. “It’s about finding ways of championing everyone so we can work together to build hope and a positive legacy for all,” says Alex Kent.
