Manchester-based fintech Freedom Finance hires new CFO

Manchester-based fintech platform Freedom Finance has appointed a new Chief Finance Officer.

Neill Skinner will be responsible for the funding and capital structure of the Group, as well as the management of relationships with investors, banks and advisors. Reporting to CEO, Brian Brodie, Neill will be working with the senior team to shape and deliver the wider Group strategy, whilst helping to enhance the pace of growth and operational flexibility.

Neill has held CFO positions at a number of quoted and PE businesses, and brings experience of blue-chip standards and regulated markets. He joins Freedom Finance from a CFO role at ParkingEye Limited and spent six years as Strategy Director at Speedy Hire plc. Neill led the launch of Speedy Hire’s international business across the Middle East and Central Asia.

The appointment follows the recent launch of Freedom Finance’s cloud-based platform and Neill will be heavily involved in designing and driving the next chapter of Freedom Finance’s growth story.


Freedom Finance is a lending platform that matches consumers to suitable loans and mortgages.
