Miller Homes Show Home Brings Wow Factor Interiors To West Yorkshire

Miller Homes Bridgewood Green, Collingham

A striking five-bedroom show home, recently unveiled by housebuilder Miller Homes, is capturing the attention of visitors in Collingham.

The Bridgeford style of home at the housebuilders’ Bridgewood Green development on the outskirts of the West Yorkshire village, sees inspirational design merge with stylish practicality to create a home with a real wow factor.

The scheme was brought together using two Farrow and Ball shades of teal blue, Inchyra Blue and Vardo. Accents of terracotta, an Asian twist, and bold fabrics has resulted in a modern, yet timeless, home which feels inviting and stylish.

“We were delighted to welcome visitors to our show home, and everyone has been so impressed with the scheme we have created,” said Debbie Whittingham, Regional Sales Director, Miller Homes Yorkshire. “It’s a wonderful family home with ample space, designed to support all facets of modern life.”

Perhaps the focal point of the house is the open plan dining kitchen and family room that extends across the rear of the property and has a sitting area, a dining area and a lounge area along with French doors into the rear garden.

A separate study has eye-catching feature wallpaper and is a great space for work, study or as a room dedicated to a hobby. A separate living room is cosy and welcoming and is a sophisticated place to relax and chat with friends and family.

A lovely design feature of the home is the central staircase which leads to a galleried landing boasting a spacious walkway to the five impressive bedrooms, two of which have ensuite facilities. In addition, the main bedroom has a separate dressing area giving plenty of space for busy parents.

The interior design of two of the five bedrooms have been created with younger family members in mind and are simply stunning.

The hit Netflix TV series ‘Emily in Paris’ has influenced one scheme, bringing a touch of ‘Ooh La La’ and Parisian chic to Collingham. The other has a wonderful black and white mural from the 1975 Paddington TV series and is accented by more Paddington and London themed accessories.

Also taking pride of place in the hallway of the home is an original artwork commission by local Collingham artist, Sarah Nicholls.

“Sarah’s work entitled ‘Home Sweet Home’ provided the basis of inspiration for the colour scheme in the home and we are delighted with the finished artwork,” said Debbie. “Our sincere thanks go to Sarah for her support, and we have the utmost admiration for her talent and the wonderful artwork created especially for our show home.”

Homes currently available include a range of two, three- and four- bedroom properties. Prices currently start from £419,995 for a three bedroom detached Grayson home and range to £599,995 for a four bedroom Brantham style of home.
