Northumberland headquartered HTL Group has made Marc Gerrard regional director of its HTL Group Scotland arm in the company’s latest strategic appointment to signal its commitment as a world-class service provider.
As part of his new role, Gerrard — who joined HTL Group in 2016 as a business manager with 22 years’ experience in sales, maintenance, management, and equipment rentals in the oil and gas field — will take responsibility of all company activity in Scotland.
He said about his role: “Throughout the past year and a half at HTL Group Scotland, I have enjoyed working with a diverse, highly skilled, technically competent team.
“Despite the oil and gas downturn, HTL Group Scotland has grown month on month, as well as year on year. I feel this is testament to the team delivering customer-focused, value-added solutions to clients.”
The new regional director plans to raise awareness of the company and develop its portfolio of services and products across Scotland. Innovation is integral to the success of HTL Group, with updated controlled bolting services launched continually in the market.
In his new position in the executive management team, Gerrard intends to diversify HTL Group’s principal controlled bolting solutions package into new markets. Within this, he will oversee the launch of specialist product lines to further support and grow HTL Group, which is headquartered in Northumberland, northeast England.
Gerrard added: “I’m excited to continue leading the team while developing HTL Group’s brand identity in new markets by adding new specialist equipment lines to complement our ever-evolving controlled bolting solutions. Ultimately, this will make our clients’ lives safer, as well as be more efficient and cost effective.”
