Property and asset management company, FI Real Estate Management (FIREM) has announced that they have secured two new tenants and seen a significant increase in demand for space following the completion of an extensive refurbishment project at North Cheshire Trading Estate in Prenton.
The refurb took place over four units across the site – with a combined floor area of 10,099 sq ft. There has been an electrics upgrade to LED lighting, along with landscaping of the surrounding grounds and redecoration internally and externally.
Two of the newly refurbed units have now been leased to new tenants. Wetroom installation specialist, Wetrooms Online Ltd. has already moved into Unit D4, while Unit C5 has been let to new, private fitness gym business, Elite-SN Ltd.
Following refurbishment, there are two remaining refurbed units available, one 4956 sq ft unit and another totalling 5,290 sq ft. Legat Owen and Mason Owen are joint agents for the site.
A spokesperson for FI Real Estate Management, said: “North Cheshire Trading Estate’s location and connectivity are major selling points, but tenants also require modern, smart industrial spaces for their teams. Most of the units here were originally built in the 1970s so they were well overdue an upgrade. We’re delighted to welcome Wetrooms Online and Elite-SN.”

FIREM manage a variety of industrial and warehouse units on the Prenton site, which range in size from 3,433 sq ft to 37,000 sq ft with a combined floor area of 117,206 sq ft. Located just off junction 3 of the M53 in Birkenhead, the North Cheshire Trading Estate offers onsite parking, office accommodation and loading areas.
