Yorkshire Company reaches out to Chinese tourists

As China develops, a growing middle class has plenty of disposable income. What was a trickle of Chinese tourists to the UK, has become a flood, 250.000 visited last year. Tapping into this growing market is Yorkshire based company, This Pampered Life. This Pampered Life creates bespoke experience packages for corporate and personal clients. It recently signed a contract to offer its services through the popular We Chat Pay app to Chinese tourists visiting Yorkshire. We Chat Pay is an online platform similar to WhatsApp and is used by over one billion Chinese customers Through the We Chat platform, tourists visiting Yorkshire from China can now purchase experience day packages directly with one click on the We Chat app. This saves them the hassle of currency conversion and time consuming bank transfers. Speaking about this latest exciting development, founder of This Pampered Life, Minoti Parikh said “This comes at the perfect time. It is aligned with our plans to expand internationally. Now with the We Chat pay, we will be able to offer our bespoke experience packages to the tourists from China who can directly book through the app in a hassle free way!” Together WeChat and WeChat Pay will make it far easier for visitors based in China and traveling to Yorkshire to take advantage of this new facility to explore all the unique facets of the region.
