Titanic Hotel to host Liverpool Hospitality Association Awards and Charity Ball

Liverpool Hospitality Association will be hosting their annual Hospitality Awards and Charity Ball at Liverpool’s Iconic Titanic Hotel on Friday 2nd November 2018. The event celebrates the hardworking employees of the exciting, yet challenging, hospitality industry, and provides an opportunity for recognition and reward within teams at all levels.

Throughout the evening a total of 12 awards will be presented, including everything from ‘Community & Green Team of the Year’ and ‘Front of House Hotel Employee of the Year’, to the ‘Mayor’s Award’ which is sponsored by the city of Liverpool Mayor. The evening, which will be sponsored by a variety of suppliers including Laurent Perrier, will be a great opportunity for guests to let their hair down and network with like-minded individuals, whilst at the same time raising funds for the three chosen charities, including The De La Salle Academy, Wirral Mind and the industry charity Hospitality Action.

Although businesses in the industry will be recognized for their hard work and achievements, these awards have a core focus on individuals and personal successes, giving all employees a chance of praise and recognition for their contribution to the hospitality sector. Now in its third successful year, the aim for this year’s event is to exceed 400 guests and set its place firmly within Liverpool’s social calendar of events.

Tracy Waddacor, Managing Director of World Class Service and the host of the Liverpool Hospitality Association Awards commented, “it is heart-warming to meet and reward such hardworking individuals in this fast paced business sector, and I hope such recognition encourages young people into this exciting industry.

“Once again, the event will be held at the iconic Titanic Hotel and it brings together both the Hoteliers and Restaurateurs, creating an extremely strong and influential Association and a key annual event for the City of Liverpool, at the same time helping to raise valuable funds for our chosen charities”.

Titanic Hotel’s General Manager, Brian Connor, commented, “we’re delighted to be part of such a great event which offers well-deserved recognition to those who make Liverpool’s hospitality industry such a success. Last year was thoroughly enjoyed by all and we’re once again looking forward to the awards being hosted at the Rum Warehouse, welcoming back both familiar faces and new for an evening of celebrations and acknowledgements”.
