Multi-award winning telecoms provider, Vivio, has cemented its place as one of the most forward thinking businesses in its industry, by entering into a partnership with digital training specialist, Code Nation.

Vivio, an award-winning independent business telecoms and IT service provider has announced a partnership with digital training specialist, Code Nation. The significant investment will not only make a huge impact on addressing the digital skills shortage in the UK, but has also seen Code Nation open a second branch within Vivio’s extensive Chester HQ, as well as moving its Manchester office to a larger space at Spring Gardens.

Founder and CEO of Vivio, James Wright, comments: “We’re extremely proud to partner with Code Nation and to be a part of a business that not only offers a digital solution to us, but the industry as a whole. The world is moving fast and the UK digital skills shortage is becoming a real issue. Businesses such as Code Nation are not only filling a skills gap, but they are also giving people the opportunity to enter into an industry that they never thought they could.

“We believe that it is vital to be proactively offering solutions. At Vivio we are dedicated to investing in people who can drive our mobile centric solutions forward. With digital engagement being a core component of our business, developing junior talent with Code Nation means that we will be constantly evolving and improving our client experience. It is this element that we believe should be available to all.

Andy Lord, CEO of Code Nation comments: “The partnership has been a fantastic opportunity for Code Nation to expand and grow. Not only do we now have the experience and support of a key player within the telecoms industry, but with the two new sites, we are also able to open our offering up to more businesses and individuals. We are currently working on several initiatives to address the skills shortage, most recently with the Adult Education Budget to provide fully-funded coding and cyber security courses.”

Vivio has also begun offering a scholarship scheme with Code Nation for students on a range of courses to kickstart their careers in the digital sector.
