Yorkshire-based digital marketing agency, Fishtank, is celebrating 10 years in business with the relocation to a new inspirational office space in the heart of rural West Yorkshire, and predicted business growth in which its forecast annual turnover looks to set to increase in 2018 by 10%.
Founded in 2008 by Managing Director, Damien Fisher, Fishtank is a cutting-edge digital marketing agency and web development studio with a global client base. Fishtank builds brands, digital platforms and digital marketing strategies for clients, both locally and internationally including Berry Global, BHP Chartered Accountants and Hudl.
In a year which saw its headcount of specialist team of developers, designers and digital marketing experts grow by 57%, Fishtank has recently completed the relocation of its office to an historic textile mill within the 1812 building in Wheatley Park, in the heart of rural West Yorkshire. Set within beautiful woodland and the river that powered the mill years ago, the relocation embodies the Fishtank ethos and culture and provides the foundation for which to grow the business over the next 10 years and beyond.
This year alone, Fishtank has secured ten new client wins and increased its existing client income by 15%. The agency has also expanded its digital marketing team which now accounts for 20% of client income.

“This year we have created a number of stand out digital platforms, brand development and digital marketing campaigns – from a technically superior World Cup microsite for Hudl, which dynamically populated with content and statistics synced from their main website’s CMS via API’s, brand and website development for craft brewers Twisted Angel, to a digital marketing campaign for BedzOnline which drives over 70% of their monthly sales.”

To mark its 10th anniversary the agency has been carrying out a series of events and fundraising activity throughout the year, including the launch of a new annual ‘Tank Talks’ speaker programme which aims to educate, inspire and provide insights from its team of specialists. The team also recently raised almost £3,000 by completing the Leeds 10K for Leeds Children’s Hospital – a cause which is close to the heart of MD Damien after his son received life-changing treatment at the hospital.
