North East business launches charity initiative to support a local charity

Surge Office in Middlesbrough

Surge, a leading marketing agency, has announced the launch of a new charitable initiative to support a North East charity and they’re calling on the public to get involved.

Launching their charity initiative in this month, the selected charity will receive not only £10,000 worth of marketing support services tailored to their needs, but will also become the company’s charity partner for the next 12 months.
By donating services, Surge can provide valuable expertise that many charities may not ordinarily be able to afford, significantly benefiting their cause.

Surge is encouraging the public to participate by nominating a charity they believe would benefit from this support. Nominations can be submitted on the company’s website at surge-online, under ‘Finance Options’.

The chosen charity will not only receive their marketing support package, but as charity partner it will also benefit from additional fundraising support through the company’s various events and initiatives that will be hosted to support the cause, raising awareness and additional funds throughout the year. This partnership provides a fantastic opportunity for the local charity to gain valuable exposure, enhance its outreach, and receive professional marketing support that can significantly impact its fundraising efforts.

This initiative builds on Surge’s previous work with the TeamLuke Foundation, a charity dedicated to funding research for Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. Through this partnership, Surge provided £14,000 worth of services, including creating copy for the website and media production, as well as designing a much-needed new website for the foundation, set to launch at the end of the month.

David Porter, Director at Surge said “We’re excited to launch this initiative and support the incredible work local charities are doing”.
“By providing the chosen charity with a tailored marketing support package, we’re able to help a local North East charity build the tools and strategies they need to grow and sustain their efforts long-term”.

“It’s about empowering these organisations with the resources and knowledge to grow their reach and awareness for the charity which ultimately benefits people in the North East community.”
