Principles announces the appointment of Victoria Harrison as Creative Director following 20 years with the Leeds-based brand communications agency.
The promotion will see Harrison join the Principles leadership team, alongside agency owners Mike Hackett, Paul Cawthray and Liz Bryne, as well as Digital Experience Director Nicci Mills, and Strategy Director Ben Norman.
Since joining the agency as Art Director in 2005, Victoria has led projects from shopper-activation in major retailers to integrated brand-building campaigns for everyday brands, including Seabrook, Ronseal and Astonish.
The appointment aims to strengthen the leadership team, supporting agency growth plans, and will see Victoria bring her leadership skills to the entire agency, while continuing to support and nurture the creative team.
Agency owner Mike Hackett, said: “Vix has been central to some of our most effective work in recent years. Her ability to turn insight into bold, distinctive ideas whilst motivating a talented team makes her an outstanding Creative Director.
“This promotion reflects both the impact Vix has had on our outputs and the ambition we have for the future of the business.”
Victoria Harrison said: “I’m incredibly proud to step into this role at such an important moment for the agency. We have an incredibly talented team, and I’m excited to build on a culture where creativity thrives and our work is genuinely meaningful for our clients and their audiences.”
Principles Agency has cited strong growth in the past two years, driven by major new client wins. Senior appointments, including Victoria’s promotion, are central to its strategic approach as it works towards ambitious five-year growth targets.
