Active Chartered Financial Planners, one of the North East and Yorkshire’s leading firms of Chartered Financial Planners, is continuing to invest in its business, spending more than £600,000 on its premises.
The Stockton-based firm has realised its ambition and bought the Active House building, on Teesside Industrial Estate, at a cost to the business of £480,000 and invested a further £150,000 in refitting the facility, timed to coincide with its branding relaunch. The purchase of its premises is the culmination of the company’s investment in its assets and staff and the fulfilment of its aspiration of building-ownership since it began renting one floor in 2012.
The redevelopment of Active House, as well as featuring enhanced client amenities, focuses on staff-wellbeing and includes the creation of a team area, comprising a fully equipped kitchen, dining and seating areas, digital TV, Wi-Fi and a games room.

Initially just renting one floor, we needed to save each year until we could afford it. Similar to how we advise our clients, we had a long term financial plan, and thankfully it’s come to fruition much quicker than anticipated.

Originally, we were going to include a gym but following a staff survey, we opted for a games room instead!”
