Family-owned Beal Homes has been crowned Yorkshire Housebuilder of the Year yet again.
Beal claimed the prize at the prestigious Insider Yorkshire Property Industry Awards and the accolade means the company has been named as the county’s top housebuilder in major awards for three consecutive years.
The latest award came at a ceremony at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds celebrating the very best in the Yorkshire property sector. Staged by the publishers of Yorkshire Business Insider magazine, the event was compered by broadcaster and former England and British Lions rugby star Martin Bayfield.
It comes during Beal’s 50th anniversary year when the East Yorkshire-based company has reinforced its reputation for superb developments.
The Insider Yorkshire Property Industry Awards judges chose Beal for the housebuilder prize the second year running, ahead of a strong shortlist of entries from Avant Homes, Berkeley DeVeer, JMP Yorkshire and Redrow, in a category sponsored by planning and design consultancy Pegasus Group.
The winning Beal entry highlighted Beal’s achievements over the past year, including completing its 1,000th high-quality home in Hull’s Kingswood neighbourhood; the success of the flagship West Hill development in Willerby, East Yorkshire; and being at the heart of the regeneration of Hull’s Fruit Market waterside quarter.
The entry also showcased Beal’s uniquely personal approach which sees customers work with a dedicated team at the company’s Customer Selection Studio to develop a bespoke internal layout and choose from an extensive range of fixtures, fittings and finishes. During the past year the company recorded the milestone of the 1,000th buyer enjoying the Beal Experience to create their dream home.
Beal’s commitment to exceptional quality and customer service has seen the company claim a host of awards. Beal won the prestigious Best Customer Satisfaction Initiative award at the 2015 national Housebuilder Awards and was named Housebuilder of the Year at the 2016 Yorkshire Residential Property Awards and the 2017 Insider Yorkshire Property Industry Awards. Beal was also awarded the Large Business of the Year prize in the Hull Daily Mail Business Awards 2016.

The awards also included Mark Jones MBE, Regeneration Director of Hull City Council, being named Property Personality of the Year for his contribution to the city’s exciting rejuvenation.
Beal and Hull-based commercial developer Wykeland Group are working in partnership with Hull City Council in the Fruit Market LLP joint venture which is driving forward the £80m transformation of the waterside district into the city’s first urban village.
