Buyer Sought For Pro-Fix Installations As RMT Accountants Are Appointed As Administrators

A buyer is being sought for an established North East contracting business after it was placed into administration.

Linda Farish and Chris Ferguson of RMT Accountants & Business Advisors have been appointed as administrators for Pro-Fix Installations (North East) Limited, an accredited window and door installer specialising in installations for new build homes for a number of large housing developers, including Bellway, Barratt Homes and Storey Homes.

The Team Valley-based business is currently continuing to trade as a going concern in administration and has a secured order book valued at around £6m for 2020.

Pro-Fix currently employs around 30 people and had a turnover of £5.7m in its last financial year.

Linda Farish says: “Pro-Fix has a long and successful track record, and despite its current financial difficulties, has every chance of trading successfully once again in the future under new ownership.

“We’ve already had initial contact with a number of potential interested parties and we are working to resolve the situation as quickly as we can.

“We’ve also been speaking to Pro-Fix’s customers about fulfilling future orders whilst the business is marketed for sale.”
