One of the north east’s best-established digital agencies has restructured its team to reward existing team members and create opportunity for new talent to join the ever-growing company.
Helen Stewart has been with Calm Digital since March 2016 as head of business development for the Teesside based software firm. And now Danielle Croce, director and co-business owner, is delighted to announce that Helen has been promoted to director status to help develop new business relationships and support organic growth in a more strategic approach.
In her new role Helen will be building on her focus of providing clients with the expertise they need to build digital solutions. She will also be working closely with her newly appointed business development team, including Carl Thom, who joins the team as business development manager. Carl brings a huge amount of experience from his previous role as business advisor at Northern Skills Group.
“Helen’s well deserved promotion and the appointment of Carl marks an important time for Calm Digital.
“We are highly skilled and specialised in our sector, and are focussed on expanding and growing our software positioning, developing complex web platforms and internal software systems. We boast an impressive portfolio already but as a team of director’s we have our eye on the future. Rather than rest on our laurels, it is important that we are strategic, in both growing our skills set and in retaining our talent to ensure we can best service our existing and new clients today and in the future.
Helen has 13 years of digital experience, working on not only the client side of the business, but also managing digital teams and client projects alike. She will now take responsibility to expand Calm Digital’s reach nationally, internationally and globally. She will ensure that all clients receive the best possible service and are fully satisfied at every stage of the process.
“The team’s ability and expertise at Calm is second to none. My aim is to motivate growth and ensure we have the strategy in place to make it successful. It’s a very exciting time and I’m privileged that I’m involved at director level at this stage of the journey. We are facing a huge opportunity to continue to develop our portfolio of clients, projects and software products, so it’s a pivotal time to be involved at such a high level.”
