Cheshire company becomes first in UK to launch match-making tool to find perfect one-to-one business coach

A wellbeing app launched by a Cheshire-based company has become the first in the UK to offer a perfect coach match-making tool.

Performance and wellbeing app, Raiys, has introduced the technology with the help of 50 world-class coaches.

This will enable users to match with their perfect coach via Al and marks a first by a British –based company.

The technology works by giving users of the app access to an AI-driven Optimal Matching Tool, which evaluates more than 300 data points before recommending a coach.

The accredited mentors bring with them a diverse offering, from Spanish to Arabic languages, experience in markets including US and Australia and backgrounds in a range of sectors, meaning users can connect with a coach in seconds based on their preferences.

Matthew Shaw, managing director of Warrington-based Raiys, believes using technology to improve and make business coaching more accessible will upskill and empower organisations and increase employee engagement and retention – in turn supporting employers to combat the so-called “great resignation!”

Matthew said: “We’re really excited to be the first British-based app to offer this to businesses.

“The employee benefit industry has become saturated with wellbeing apps over the last two years, but organisations are looking towards growth again; people want professional development as well as mental health support and that’s exactly what Raiys addresses with our Optimal Matching Tool.

“We’re encouraging business leaders to rethink how accessible coaching is within their company; it’s no longer a luxury for senior management but a necessity if you want to grow and develop future talent.

“We have seen individuals, from junior to senior levels, display enhanced resilience, motivation and confidence and have used the service to manage stress and prevent burn-out. Most importantly, they receive impartial guidance and support from someone who is 100 per cent in their corner with their best intentions. Employees don’t have to worry about being tested in the sessions or reported back on.”

The app is currently trusted and used by multiple, well-known large UK businesses.

Matthew continued: “We have seen a huge amount of interest from business coaches in this service because we’re offering an enablement tool to connect them with clients. Both parties can now spend more time engaging instead of trawling through the internet looking to find each other. We are now guaranteed to ensure the right and best connections are being made.

“We want to celebrate coaches’ individual styles whilst ensuring they are well integrated with our app so we have developed a framework which has been created around four types of performance: struggling, surviving, developing, and thriving. Raiys provides a tailored approach to employee development based on where they sit within this model and our objective is to move employees into the latter of those groups through coaching.”
