Years of hard work paid off for two of Cooper & Hall’s bright young stars with an excellent industry qualification.
Bradley Everitt and Joe Wright both graduated with First Class BSc (Hons) degrees in Quantity Surveying.
The pair’s dedication involved weekly trips to study at Northumbria University while getting on the job training from senior colleagues at C&H.
A delighted Joe, who also earned the university’s Adam Serfontein Transformation and Innovation Award, said: “The essential skills I gained from the course I now put into practice at Cooper & Hall.
“Getting a First – and on top of that receiving an award – was one of the proudest moments of my life.”
Bradley said: “It came as a bit of a surprise, but to get a First Class Honours meant the hard work paid off. All of the knowledge will contribute to the pre- and post-contract work we do.”
C&H Director Phil Cooper said the duo’s success was testament to the company’s rigorous training programme. “We demand a lot from our people,” said Phil. “Both Bradley and Joe have shown they have what it takes to work to our own and the industry’s high standards.”
