Digital City Festival returning in April 2021 as a truly digital experience

Following the enormous success of the in-person Digital City Festival 2020, the celebration of digital returns in a form that suits the digital professionals of 2021. Coming in a truly digital format, Digital City Festival 2021 is hosted over two weeks and welcomes leading companies as well as influential global speakers to its programme.

The Digital City Network – which is free to register for access to – will host all of the festival’s content, and remain open after April 23rd to help organisations connect, transform and grow together after the festival closes. The Network will house a virtual exhibition and solutions showcase, the festival’s central keynotes, Q&As, roundtables, cultural events and more.

The content included as part of Digital City Festival will be in broadcast quality and include a selection of world-class speakers – so wherever you are, you can make the most of what’s on offer.

It’s broadcast from the state-of-the-art facilities at MediaCityUK – Europe’s first ‘connected neighbourhood’ – and produced by Badger & Combes, who recently produced the programme for the hugely impactful United We Stream GM. This is underpinned by the infrastructure provided by dock10, the studio where many national TV favourites are shot.


Digital City Festival celebrates some of the finest work in the digital world and leads the conversation on some of the most important topics affecting the industry. The annual events programme also includes the Digital City Awards – which take place on April 19th 2021, and recognise the organisations, teams and individuals who are helping to build a better future through technology.

The prestigious Digital City Awards will also be broadcast via the Digital City Network and will be an unmissable event for digital professionals.
