Gala Graphics, the Rotherham based graphic design and promotional print specialist, is showing its appreciation for independent market traders as the Official Supplier of Merchandise for the Love Your Local Market (LYLM) campaign.
The company, which is supporting the campaign for a second year, has released a range of promotional merchandise and marketing materials, including flags, banners, bunting, balloons and aprons, all adorned with the LYLM logo.
Now in its 7th year, Love Your Local Market, which takes place from 17th – 31st May with the theme ‘Close to Your Heart’, is the annual initiative which grew out of the Portas review in 2012 as a one day event.
During the two week campaign 3000 events, taking place across 17 countries, will showcase innovation and celebrate heritage, culture, produce, crafts and food. There will also be opportunities for new traders and initiatives encouraging young enterprise across the nation, including in markets located in towns and cities across Yorkshire.

Minister for High Streets, Jake Berry MP said: “Love Your Local Market reflects markets as part of the historical fabric of our communities and that they have an important role in their future. Like our town centres and high streets, markets are rising to the challenge of attracting the modern consumer, becoming more community and partnership focussed and adapting to today’s technologies.”
