Growth goes through the roof for Yorkshire property specialists

A Leeds-based property solutions provider has topped off a record 12-months of expansion with a raft of prestigious and high-profile commercial contracts across the region.

ECO Integrated Property Solutions (IPS), which provides property management services, has also appointed a new member of senior management, launched in the capital with a recently-opened London office, expanded its role in the national healthcare sector and implemented a total re-brand.

Founded in 2003 to provide property and engineering support to the commercial sector, the Drighlington company manages more than 2,000 properties across the UK and has expanded its portfolio to include management of healthcare, education, retail, leisure and community projects across the UK.

With 10 new properties secured in 2017 including offices in Sheffield and commercial sites in London, its latest venture is advising on and implementing the estate-wide facilities management strategy for Paradigm, Leeds’ only major out-of-town office development currently on the market. The imposing 31,650 sq ft site at Thorpe Park Leeds, is owned by Scarborough International Properties and Legal & General Capital which appointed ECO IPS to prepare the building for letting while providing continuous support throughout the next phases of development.

Richard Burns of Cameg Project Management, comments: “ECO IPS has played a major role in the success of the Paradigm project, from initial consultancy to facilities management implementation. We flew in potential investors from around the world to view the site and to have the building immaculate and running like clockwork directly contributed to the investment we received.”

He added: “Once occupiers move in we’ll use the ECO IPS ‘total property solution’ which will be a huge time-saver as we can hand over the specific requirements of each tenant for the ECO team to manage.”

ECO IPS also welcomed director of consultancy, David Robinson, who joined the 20-strong team last month with a commercial property background including the likes of Knight Frank, GVA Grimley and Watts. His role is to steer the business’ delivery objectives, build on the existing property consultancy division and grow the client base.

Andrew Walker, ECO IPS managing director, explains: “While facilities management remains at the heart of what we do we have evolved and grown so much that we had to re-think the way we portrayed the business, resulting in a new look and new positioning.

“We now service clients from the south coast to Inverness including care homes and high-spec office buildings from our bases in Yorkshire and London. The work we have done on Paradigm has cemented our position as a major player in the total property solutions market, not just in the region, but nationally.

“Bringing in David and opening our London office have marked an already incredible year for us and we’re looking forward to even greater growth over the coming months and years.”

Previously known as ECO FM & WH Property & Engineering Consultants, the owners have introduced a fresh brand identity to reflect a total property solutions company which incorporates its three arms of consulting, facilities management delivery and 24/7 helpdesk support.

ECO IPS’s clients include The Scarborough Group, Savills, River Island, Sheffield United FC, Laing O’Rourke and Lifeways.
