Huddersfield Business Week announces key names for launch event panel

Huddersfield Business Week officially begins on Monday 30th September, with exciting details announced for the highly anticipated launch event.

The launch event, hosted at Magic Rock Brewing in the town centre and sponsored by Ad:Venture, will see key business professionals from the town give insights into their business as well as discussing the key challenges and triumphs Huddersfield-based businesses face.

The panel will include Claire Paxman of Paxman Coolers, Simon Bodsworth of Daval Furniture, Ray Woolhead of Divine Gin, and Katrina Cliffe of KC Communications and organiser of Huddersfield Business Week, and will be chaired by Charles Brook of Poppleton and Appleby.

Huddersfield Business Week has been extremely well received so far with over 30 events submitted by companies across the area. Organisations including the University of Huddersfield, The Leeds Enterprise Partnership (The LEP) and Huddersfield Giants as well as many more are hosting events with the aim of putting Huddersfield in the spotlight.

The event has also attracted support from organisations such as the Media Centre, Heritage Exchange and Magic Rock Brewing with free event space available.

Laura Batchelor, Client Services Director at KC Communications, commented: We’re thrilled to have these panellists on board for the launch event. As leaders of successful Huddersfield-based businesses we’re excited to hear what insight they can share with us and what they think the future of Huddersfield looks like.”

Huddersfield Business Week is presented by PR & Marketing Agency, KC Communications, after recognising a lack of anything similar in the area to help Huddersfield businesses showcase their fantastic achievements.

All Huddersfield Business Week events are free to list as part of the event, with advice on topics ranging from pensions, factory tours, health & wellbeing, marketing, and more on offer.
