Link Communication Wins Gold for Second Year Running

The Team at Link Communication Win Gold

Leeds-based experiential marketing agency, Link Communication, picked up a Gold Award at the annual Field Marketing & Brand Experience Awards held in Brentford. The agency won the accolade for the “Most Effective Retail Sales Experience” for their work on the True Nopal (cactus water) brand at the event held last week, which attracted over 500 guests from the marketing industry to celebrate best in class field marketing and brand experiential campaigns.

This is the second FMBE award in two years for the growing agency. Joel Kaufman, MD at Link Communication, said: “When it comes to using promotional sampling and experiential marketing to create retail sales growth on a national scale for brands, it’s both humbling and gratifying to know that from our modest base in Yorkshire not only do we effectively compete, but now repeatedly outperform the leading London agencies; most of which are upwards of 20 times bigger in terms of turnover and headcount.”

Frank Wainwright, director of FMBE Awards and chair of the judging, said: “The success of Link Communication and Ture Nopal Cactus Water in our Retail Sales Experience category was hailed by our judges as a fantastic example of how new products and brands can find their way to long term success using store sampling and brand engagement. Link showed how their professional approach and focussed drive for sales success led to outstanding results for their client, winning in a category where every finalist made a strong case for the title. As one judge commented, the winning case study should be a tremendous encouragement to any brand, big or small, that is currently considering a sampling campaign.”

Connie Doak, new business sales manager at True Nopal, commented: “It’s been a pleasure to work with them on a sampling campaign that drives trial and sales for new brands.”
