Manchester-based IT support and consultants, Linten Technologies, were chosen to deliver widespread wireless internet access for the large-scale international POLIS conference. Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) engaged with the award-winning IT company to provide a robust WiFi solution for the annual POLIS event. Hosted at Old Trafford stadium, Linten ensured uninterrupted WiFi connection for all 550 delegates.
The event brings together European politicians to share insights on ‘Innovation in Transport for Sustainable Cities and Regions’. With a record number of attendees expected, the event organisers needed reliable internet connectivity for the duration.
Linten worked closely with the event venue team – Manchester United Football Ground – to deliver fast and secure connection throughout a huge area. Gaining access to the venue just days prior to the POLIS conference, Linten installed all necessary hardware and thoroughly stress-tested the WiFi services.
