Platform is the new co-working space with a difference. We are an ideas hub for budding creative and entrepreneurial thinkers, where you can work collaboratively, play with, and develop ideas. We have already signed up graphic designers, digital marketers and architects, and we are welcoming you to be a part of our community. We believe, ‘if you have an idea, you are a creative’, so fuel that creativity and join us in Platform, August 2019, in Baltic Creative’s Digital House.
Developed from our involvement in delivering successful models run across Liverpool, and operating out of the Baltic Creative for over 6 years, Platform will help people working from the space turn their ideas into reality, through mentoring, networking events, workshops, and exposure to a range of experienced experts.
Furthermore, Platform will encourage people to use their talents and ideas to meet today’s big challenges. Already Platform have held a series of public events, where expert speakers discussed and explored with the audience, issues including climate change, the future of work, our health and wellbeing, and how to make Liverpool a more sustainable city.
Roy Jones, Community Director, says: “We are building a platform to empower people to turn their ideas into innovation through co-working, networking, mentoring, expert-advice and a series of events, workshops and creative jams.” Rosie Renals-Wells, Community Coordinator agrees, “Platform is a foundation for people to build themselves up, and grow their company, craft or calling through developing ideas. It is a hub of energy and creativity and that is aimed at inspiring people to work more collaboratively and socially, with experienced professionals and like-minded people!”
Located in the heart of the Baltic Triangle, one of the most exciting and fast-growing areas of Liverpool, users of Platform will be in the perfect location to connect and collaborate with other companies, and enjoy the perks of being a member of the wider Baltic Creative community. The stunning space is fitted with bespoke sustainable work benches designed and built by local design businesses Elabora, Different, and social enterprise Urban Workbench.
