Lord Major relaunches JTF Sheffield to mark 40 years with big family fun day

JTF Home & Garden, value retailers operating across the UK, welcomed thousands of customers in store to celebrate its 40th anniversary in style. With special offers, freebies and fun for the whole family, the 12 stores have plenty to cheer about and Sheffield’s branch had even more reason to celebrate.

Since the start of the journey in 1979, JTF has expanded across the North and Midlands to now operate 12 value retail stores in addition to a thriving online store for customers across the country. JTF provide a range of 10,000 great value, quality products with a guarantee that they will not be beaten on price. So, whatever a customer needs, they’ll find it, and love it from JTF Home & Garden.

Saturday’s event offered activities for the whole family, from gin tasting and special offers on the entire product range, to face-painting and balloon models for younger visitors. A shop-to-win scratch card game ran across all stores, giving lucky winners one of 100,000 prizes on offer which included a £250 JTF gift voucher, Lay-z-spa, and even a years’ worth of loo roll.

The event a huge success for the Sheffield store, footfall experienced a significant rise for the day with visitor figures up 90% from the same date last year.

Branch manager, Robert Coutts, said, “From celebrating 40 years in business, to officially re-launching JTF’s Sheffield store with the help of the Lord Mayor, visitors had plenty to enjoy. Free food and drink, competitions, gin-tasting, and face painting, were just a few things on offer alongside our usual great value product.”

JTF Home & Garden CEO, Liam Gill, said, “We wanted to offer something special for all our JTF customers new and old to celebrate 40 years in business. This weekends’ event went beyond even our expectations and everyone at JTF hope those that paid us a visit enjoyed what was on offer and will be back soon to take advantage of all the great offers across the entire product range.”

The festivities were kicked off with a special event offering 40 epic deals to celebrate 40 years of service, followed by unmissable deals throughout September both online and in-store. These includes TVs, Laptops, Toys & Games, Furniture, and much more alongside the launch of the new seasons Christmas, Firework, and Halloween ranges.

Alongside the birthday celebrations Sheffield’s JTF store had even more reason to celebrate, with Lord Mayor Tony Downing on hand to officially re-open the branch following a significant refurbishment.
