New Family Show Homes in Lancashire

Miller Homes has opened the doors on two beautiful new show homes on their Beacon Park development, located on Joe Lane in the village of Catterall. The new show homes are designed to inspire house hunters with the latest interior trends.

Both offering four bedrooms, the Chadwick and Buchan show homes are ideal for families looking to upsize to a spacious new home and were decorated by Killer 5.

The Chadwick show home has a theme of deep, regal reds punctuating the on-trend grey interior theme. The generous living room uses geometric lights to maximise the space and create a modern feel, with the hallway and kitchen-diner’s polished marble effect flooring and heavy roped curtains giving a subtle touch of elegance.

Upstairs, the four spacious double bedrooms have a growing family in mind: with practical ensuites in both the master and guest bedroom, the two further bedrooms are styles for teenagers: the first with a bike theme, with dramatic printed feature wall and industrial bed side table; and the second with multi-tonal neutrals, layering different natural materials, and a wall of fairy lights acting dually as a personal photo gallery. The large family bathroom benefits from a deep white bath and stylish waterfall shower.

The Buchan show home has a rustic, country theme throughout. Bringing the outdoors in, soft whites and creams work alongside greens and woods and large mirrors to reflect plenty of natural light. A distressed white table and mismatched vintage-style wooden chairs act as the heart of the large kitchen-diner, with the sleek white marble table in the living room bringing a touch of luxury. Layers of multi-tonal green cushions, artwork and succulents bring a fresh feel to the space, and intricately designed feature walls work with soft lamp light to create a cosy country feel.

The Buchan benefits from a downstairs study, with industrial urban metals complimenting unpolished wood to create a fashionable but practical space for work. Stairs rise from the centre of the hallway where the master, with ensuite, and second bedrooms continue the natural theme with dark wooden bedside tables and palm tree printed cushions. The two further bedrooms are styled with younger families in mind. The first has a nautical theme with watercolour-style coastal printed feature wall, soft creams and shades of blue; the second has a soft rose gold theme with small pockets of metallics in the cushions and lamp – ideal for young girls.

Located just two miles from the town of Garstang and ten miles from Preston, Beacon Park offers the idyllic, rural village life with a bustling, vibrant community overlooking inspiring open landscapes. The development will offer a range of homes suitable for both families and first-time buyers, offering homes with luxury interiors to suit a variety of tastes and budgets. Conveniently located for a large number of excellent schools, amenities and transport links the development is proving to be incredibly popular in the area.
