A Middlesbrough motor dealership has welcomed an award-winning Motability specialist to its team as part of its growth plans.
Lookers Ford Servicing, has appointed Julie Sidgwick as its Motability expert after she recently won an award from the Motability Scheme for providing outstanding customer service.
Julie, who previosuly worked at a Vauxhall dealership in Middlesbrough, was among only 10 people across the UK to win this latest Motability award and now acts as the main point of contact at the Ford dealership, as well as manages its fleet of Motability vehicles.
Lookers Ford Middlesbrough now sees the Motability scheme as a bigger part of its future and believes Julie’s popularity among Motability customers in her previous role will prove to be a huge asset.
The Motability Scheme is operated by a registered charity and provides an affordable, worry-free way for people with disabilities to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair in exchange for their mobility allowance.
Julie said: “I’m excited to be joining Lookers Ford Middlesbrough at a time when it is providing a lot more choice for motorists. I love helping Motability customers, either families or individuals, find the perfect car to suit their very specific needs. Helping those with mobility issues rediscover a real sense of freedom and independence through driving provides me with an immense sense of job satisfaction.”
The dealership is set to welcome a host of new models in the coming months, including the return of the Ford Puma, as well as a range of hybrid and electric models.
