North East IT Company Stacked for Success

The directors of TruStack Geoff Hodgson, Richard Common, Joe Olabode, Paul Watson, Phil Cambers and Russell Henderson

Three of the North East’s most well respected and forward-thinking IT Services businesses have merged into a new company which now has a combined turnover of more than £10m.

SITS Group, PCI Services and Pivotal Networks have joined forces to become ‘TruStack LTD’, boasting a portfolio of more than 250 active clients.

TruStack will provide IT services including cloud computing, infrastructure design and implementation, data centre services, managed services, unified communications, Cybersecurity solutions and managed desktop services.

Amongst its clients are many of the North East’s Top 200 companies – including Muckle LLP and Collingwood Business Solutions – as well as big names across the UK like the Natural History Museum and Vertu Motors.

The owners of the three businesses, who provided a host of similar services, said merging would benefit all of their existing clients across the country.

Phil Cambers, one of the founders of SITS Group, said: “We started our business eleven years ago and I can’t believe how far
we have come.

“To merge with these other two fantastic companies and grow into the size we have makes me extremely proud.

“We have big plans in the pipeline, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for our new business.

“We look forward to growing even more and waving the flag for the North East. There are so many forward-thinking and successful businesses on our doorstep, and we are proud to be one of them.”

Joe Olabode and Richard Common (founder directors of PCI Services) join the board of the new company along with Phil Cambers, Paul Watson, Russell Henderson and Geoff Hodgson.

Joe said: “There is clearly a very similar positive culture between all of the businesses, and merging made absolute sense.

“By pooling the combined expertise of the three companies our loyal and longstanding client base will benefit from accessing an even wider range of products and services.”

In a joint statement, the directors added: “We have spent many months performing due-diligence on all sides and are delighted to announce this merger.

“We would like to thank all parties involved in making this deal happen, including legal advice from Ward Hadaway and financial advice from Clive Owen and Haines Watts.”.

TruStack has its head office on the Northumberland Business Park, Cramlington, with a branch office situated at the Evolve Business Centre, Houghton le Spring.
