A brand-new housing development has recently launched on the site of the former Stagecoach depot in Manchester.
Rise Homes, a provider of spacious and secure accommodation for rent across the North of England and the Midlands which has successfully delivered schemes across the UK, is creating high-quality apartments once again in Manchester.
The homes, located at The Depot – a 6-acre development that sits on the site of the former Stagecoach Depot on Princess Parkway – consist of 4 low rise blocks each with 12 large 2-bedroom apartments and 11 spacious 1-bedroom apartments.

The site is being developed by Rowlinson in partnership with Rise Homes and MSV Housing Group, bringing forward much-needed housing catering for all stages of life within the community.
In total, over 200 new homes will be built, made up of: spacious 1 and 2-bedroom apartments, beautiful 3 and 4-bedroom family homes and independent later-living accommodation.
The 3 and 4-bedroom family homes with allocated parking and private gardens will complete Spring 2020 and will be available for both outright sale and shared ownership, helping families to get onto the property ladder.
The Over 55s Extra Care housing is intended to enable and support the older generation to live independently for as long as possible, with the reassurance that care and support services are readily available should they need them.
All homes have been designed to respect the architecture of the Victorian homes in the surrounding area, whilst also providing modern open-plan interiors. With tree-lined streets alongside private and communal garden areas, landscape plans mean that wonderful green spaces are integrated into the development.
