Calbee UK Ltd (Calbee), owner of Bradford-based Seabrook Crisps, will show its support for two local sports clubs as it becomes sponsor of Bradford City AFC and Bradford Bulls for the 23/24 season.
Bradford City AFC already stock Seabrook Crisps and with this agreement, the brand will become an associate partner, receiving matchday branding inside the University of Bradford Stadium and opportunities to amplify the partnership with marketing activity throughout the year.
With Bradford Bulls, Seabrook has agreed sponsorship at the club’s Odsal Stadium and ongoing supply of Seabrook Crisps.
Calbee UK Marketing Director, Claire Hooper, comments: “As a business that has a long heritage in Bradford, we want to show our support for local clubs that have a strong following and make such a positive impact on the community.
“As a business, we are delighted to work alongside Bradford-based clubs that do so much work both on and off the pitch. We look forward to following Bradford City AFC and Bradford Bulls throughout the 2023/2024 season and will be cheering from the sidelines!”
Bradford City AFC Chief Commercial Officer, Davide Longo, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Calbee Group to our commercial portfolio.
“This deal, with another of Bradford’s big hitters, has been a long time in the making, and we are pleased to finally be able to work together to hopefully unlock the potential this partnership carries across the district.
“I would like to thank the Calbee team for their help in making it happen and am looking forward to working more closely with Calbee over the coming years.”
Ian Stafford, Bradford Bulls Commercial Manager, added: “The Club and our fans are delighted to have Seabrook Crisps on sale at Odsal and to be working with another brand with long heritage in our city.”
