Sheffield Driver CPC Training company celebrates first year with contract win

Minx Consulting win contract with South Yorkshire Transport Museum

A training company based in Sheffield is celebrating its first year in business by winning a prestigious contract.

Minx Consulting based in Deepcar has just reached its first birthday, providing training for Drivers for their certificate of Professional Competence known as CPC Training.
The company is adding to the celebration by winning a contract to train voluntary staff at the South Yorkshire Transport Museum.

Colin Mordon, South Yorkshire Transport Museum says’
We are delighted to be working with Minx Consulting .We knew after meeting them they were the right fit for us. Their enthusiasm, professionalism and commitment meant they were the right company to train our
volunteers who must be compliant to drive their museum buses & lorries to events / hire contract such as weddings and corporate hospitality.’

The Museum is currently home to around 50 vehicles including cars, buses and a tramcar body.
Some of these vehicles are owned by the museum and some are privately owned.
All of these vehicles are at different stages of restoration, some fully restored to their former glory.

CPC training requires every commercial driver to complete 35 hours of periodical training every five years regardless of his or her level of experience.
The focus of the course is to educate attendees to adhere to best practice, with the aim to prevent and reduce road collisions as well as increase efficiencies and reduce vehicles’ carbon footprint.

Minx Consulting, Managing Consultant Sophia Ali says
“It’s been an amazing year with lots of highs and lows for both myself and the team. We successfully launched our CPC Driver training and are looking forward to delivering the new mental health / wellbeing CPC Driver module as of mid March 2019.
It’s been a lot of hard work with everyone playing an important part in the success of the business and we are all looking forward to an eventful 2019.”
