The North of England is the peak for property industry’s annual ski trip

Property professionals from the North of England, and those working in related industries, are being urged to don their skis and hit the piste, to help make the fundraising and networking, PropSki 2020, the biggest event in the annual skiing trip’s history.

It will take place between the 18th and 25th January 2020, in Chamonix, and the organisers are keen to attract more skiers and snowboarders from the North of England. Anyone interested can attend an event on the 3rd October 2019. The showcasing event is sponsored by long-term PropSki supporters, Adept Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers, which has offices in Leeds and Manchester, and North West project and building consultancy, Anderton Gables.

It will be held in Manchester, on 3rd October 2019 from 5.30pm – 8.30pm, on the roof terrace at Manchester Hall on Bridge Street, and food and drink will be served during the evening. There will also be presentations from PropSki’s organisers, the opportunity for those who have already booked to meet other PropSkiers and the chance to find out about the wide range of travel and hotel packages available, as well as hearing about some of the corporate events that will take place throughout the week.

The eighth PropSki is aiming to attract more than 450 property professionals who will stay at the four-star La Folie Douce Hotel. PropSki also raises money for LandAid, and 2018’s event raised more than £15,000 for the property industry charity which is working to end youth homelessness.

Erol Erturan, managing director at Adept, said: “For seven years, PropSki, often dubbed ‘MIPIM on skis,’ has been bringing property industry professionals together for a week of networking, fundraising, a variety of daily events and, of course, lots of fantastic skiing in Chamonix, underneath the epic peak of Mont Blanc.

“Members of Adept’s team have been there for the last three years and it’s always been a fantastic event. Ultimately, people enjoy doing business with people they know, and the networking opportunities that PropSki has given us, and the doors it has opened, have been hugely valuable.”

Andrew Whittle, director at Anderton Gables, added: “PropSki is now widely recognised as one of the most successful networking and fundraising events in the property industry’s annual calendar. It’s also a big opportunity for property professionals and companies from the North of England, which have been underrepresented there in recent years.

“Our showcase evening will provide relevant information about the half and full week packages that are available to both companies and individuals, as well as offering an insight into the vast range of activities taking place throughout the week. We’d urge anyone interested in PropSki to register their details and come along to find out more on the 3rd October in Manchester.”

Anyone interested in attending the showcase event should make a £5 donation to LandAid which acts as an entry ticket.
