Umpf announces appointments after period of sustained growth

Amy Airey (L) and Saskia Bragger (R)

Leeds-based integrated agency Umpf has announced the appointment of Amy Airey as Senior Account Director and Saskia Bragger as Account Executive, following a period of continued growth and account wins across its PR, social media and studio departments.

Having been at integrated agency ilk (formerly Manifest) for eight years, Airey held the PR Director role for the last five and was Chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in 2018. Her experience spans B2B and B2C on and offline PR and social media strategy, having worked across clients including British Military Fitness, Barratt Homes and KPMG.

In her new role Airey will oversee a number of Umpf’s consumer clients, support with new business and work with the growing studio team on creative accounts. The new appointments coincide with the launch of Umpf’s new website, which went live this week and showcases the agency’s growing integrated offering.

Bragger joins straight from Leeds Beckett University, where she was awarded a BA First Class Honours Degree in Public Relations and Journalism. During her second year she travelled to Thailand as part of a project for global brand INEOS, where she collaborated with thirty university students internationally to provide a communications campaign that was presented to over 200 guests, including the INEOS CEO.

The duo will work across Umpf’s established portfolio of accounts which includes ENGIE, Glen Dimplex Home Appliances, Harrison Spinks, Keepmoat Homes and Land Securities.

Umpf Founder and Managing Director Adrian Johnson commented: ““Amy and Saskia are two fantastic new recruits for us as we expand the agency. Amy adds director-level experience to the team and will support the growth of our integrated offer. Saskia is a talented PR and journalism grad and will join the consumer team. I’m delighted to welcome them both as we celebrate ten years of Umpf with a new website, new clients and new team members.”
