Manchester-based brand, web and digital marketing agency, Cube3, has launched a new loyalty web app for the national Italian restaurant group, Gusto Italian.

Gusto Italian is a popular food and drinks destination with 18 Italian restaurants across the UK, including sites in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, York and Leamington Spa.

The brand was in need of an agency that could help them to develop a new online rewards programme to give guests personalised offers – and reward loyalty whilst driving repeat visits and general footfall.

Phil Leather, Head of Digital at Gusto Italian, said: “We had already worked with Cube3 when they helped us to build our new user-first website earlier this year. The team were great – enthusiastic and insightful – and understood our business inside-out, supporting us every step of the way. When it came to deciding who would develop our web app, it was an easy choice.

“We wanted to create a rewards programme that gives our guests real value – personalised treats, cashback, exclusive deals – and we think we’ve done just that. Cube3 has gone above and beyond to ensure the web app is functional, technically-sound and visually stunning too. Now, we’re looking forward to seeing what our guests think of it.”

Mark Bailey, Managing Director at Cube3, said: “We loved partnering with Gusto to develop their new web app. It was an exciting project for us and a great opportunity to showcase our technical innovation.

“Working closely with a third party, we’ve developed an application that joins up the entire Gusto experience. Users scan a QR code on their phone in the restaurant to redeem rewards and cashback instantly on the web app – providing a seamless journey from mobile to restaurant.

“It uses the progressive web application (PWA) approach to provide app-style navigation, reward loyalty and ultimately drive visits to their restaurants.

“The product launched earlier this month and has generated over 10,000 signups within 10 days and counting. We are excited to see results keep rolling in and hope to continue our digital partnership with Gusto into the future.”
