Halifax marketing agency restructures to create CEO, CTO and MD roles

Full-service marketing agency, Woven, reposition their senior roles as part of growth strategy.

Woven announced today the creation of three new senior positions as part of their ambitious three-to-five-year growth strategy.

The reshuffle sees Helen Darlington become Chief Executive Officer (formerly Head of Creative Strategy), Tony Pye become Chief Technical Officer (formerly Head of Digital Development) and Mark Bower become Managing Director (formerly Client Services Director).

Mark said, “The move is part of our ongoing growth plan, as we enhance our presence in Australia and the Middle East in our core markets of luxury brands, high-end property and international B2B organisations. The reshuffle will free up Helen’s and Tony’s time to operate in a more strategic capacity whilst I take over the day-to-day operations of the UK business.”

Helen said, “Mark joining the Senior Team allows Tony and I to focus our attention where it’s most needed. We didn’t think it would be easy bringing a new member into the Senior Team, but it’s worked really well, giving us added transparency, honesty and an aligned direction.”

Woven have also restructured their marketing division, promoting Daniel Swepson to Head of Marketing (formerly Marketing Campaign Manager), whose passion, insight and experience makes him the ideal candidate to replace Hollie Denby, who is soon to go on maternity leave.

Helen explained, “In recent months, we’ve reshaped and reshuffled every department with huge success. We’ve got incredible people within Woven, they’re talented, creative and a genuine pleasure to work with. I’m proud of the journey we’ve taken so far and am extremely excited by Woven’s future.”
