Leeds based tech consultancy wins Best Public Sector Digital Project at the Digital Technology Leaders Awards

Rob Stranger, Adrian Stanbury and Ben Davison

Digital delivery consultancy Axiologik has announced an average growth of 100% year on year and taken up residency in new offices in the heart of Holbeck, Leeds, with a plan to support the regeneration of the area.

In addition to sustained growth, the company has also been awarded Best Public Sector Digital Project in the Digital Technology Leaders Awards, thanks to its work in collaboration with the NHS and other NHS suppliers, supporting delivery of the Covid-19 National Vaccination Delivery Programme.

The award recognises organisations using technology to transform businesses with innovative strategies and the ability to make change.

Founded in 2019 by Rob Stanger, Ben Davison, and Adrian Stanbury, Axiologik has grown on average by 100% in each of its first five years, which is set to continue into 2022.

The business has now moved into an office in St David’s Court, a stone’s throw from Leeds train station in a regeneration area of the city, as it ramps up operations after a hugely successful period. The 270 sq metre office will allow Axiologik’s mixed team of over 100 permanent and contract associates to work flexibly between the new head office, client offices, or at home. There has been a significant investment to create a modern, innovative, and collaborative workspace.

Axiologik is still looking to grow its team, despite the red-hot IT recruitment market having recently appointed a new Head of Talent.

Axiologik’s growth is supported by its major clientele, one of the most notable being its award-winning work with the NHS during the pandemic. Other major clients include the Home Office, the UK Health Security Agency and Thomson Reuters.

Underpinned by its 12-point manifesto, the company’s brand and website has also been updated to give clearer insight into its vision, mission and purpose and the services it offers. Axiologik helps organisations of all sizes use digital technology more effectively. It guides them through digital evolution journeys that bring concrete, real-world benefits.

Adrian says: “At Axiologik we do things differently and we wanted a brand which reflected that. We are a digital consultancy that is relentlessly focused on creating tangible benefits for our clients. We don’t do tech for the sake of it, and I think that our recent win at the Digital Technology Leaders Awards demonstrates how our work can have a positive impact, not only on our clients but for the country as a whole.

“We passionately believe that there are right and wrong ways to do things, and this permeates HOW we deliver projects, just as how our cultural values permeate who we are. We’re not naive, every environment has its constraints, but we know that not everything is doable on day one. Everyone has to make compromises, and our ability to do this is often what makes the difference on the big projects we excel at. We want to continue this as we grow and develop in the Leeds tech space.”

The branding runs through the new office, which was designed and created in collaboration with Design Tonic and Thompson, two other Yorkshire-based firms. To celebrate its opening, Axiologik hosted an event which included talks from Leeds Community Foundation and Leeds Digital Festival.

Ben says: “Leeds is something of the Silicon Valley of the North, so there’s lots of technology companies and lots of competition for the best talent. Our new offices and brand will help us attract the right calibre of candidate to help take Axiologik forward.”

Where might that momentum lead? “We’re looking to continue our growth trajectory,” says Rob.

“But we’re already much more than the sum of our parts. There’s a deep pool of experience in the company and we’ve worked on some of the most important digital projects in the UK. We want to continue to deliver projects that drive positive benefits for the organisations we work with and society at large, genuinely helping organisations become the best version of themselves”
